I found a recipe for Cigar fig/bourbon ice cream and it was really tasty. I suggest giving that one a shot if you want to try a variation.... Sure you can find it via google

The whole anti-whaling movement are a bunch of suckers brainwashed by Disney. Telling us not to eat whale is like India trying to prohibit international consumption of, and trade in beef! We need to kill the whales: not doing so will upset the ecological balance. There are infact too many minke whales, since they have become used to getting catched for centuries. The whole "threatened" thing is a hoax and applies only to certain species. Also, we shoot an exploding grenade into the head, so the kill is quick and humane. Norway has the most modern and humane, scientifically founded methods for sustainable whale harvesting.

Also, whale meat is really nice as sashimi, sushi or steaks, provided it is fresh. What you got can't have been, since they had to mask the flavour. I have had all three: sashimi, sushi and steaks with green pepper sauce, and it actually is really nice. You should try it at Alex Sushi in Oslo, Norway, or have a Norwegian cook steaks for you with the two star michelin cook Eyvind Hellstrøm's recipe in his book Bagateller.

Sze Yen here!

When you open your restaurant, be sure to let me know! =P even if you don't want a full fledged restaurant, private dining is very very popular in Asia.

And I applaud you on your creativity, patience and knack for experimentation
